In Which I Confess My Addiction to Adult Ren'Py Games

But every once in a while, among all the trash and dreck, there shines a gem. A diamond in the rough that captivates your mind, arouses your libido, and leaves you begging for more... even if it takes them damned developers half a decade to release the next chapter. I blame (thank?) my old college buddy Mark for introducing me to this world of lust and depravity. We were bored one weekend, stoned out of our gourds, and he casually dropped a link onto my desktop. It was for a game called "The Corruption of Elise," a twisted tale of a young schoolgirl ensnared in a web of sexual corruption and depravity by her female teachers. The first scene alone had me hooked: Elise wakes up naked, her memories foggy, and a pair of panties jammed into her mouth. From there, it only gets dirtier and hotter, with branching paths leading to forbidden lesbian sex, incestuous relationships, non-consensual orgies, and other fetishes darker than the depths of Hades' bowels. And thus began my descent into the dark underbelly of adult Ren'Py games. I devoured anything remotely perverse and kinky, whether it was gratis on some dubious site or required shelling out actual cash money (which, trust me, doesn't last long when you have a growing addiction). Some of my favorites include "Erotic Adventures of Zora" series, which features a strong, assertive heroine named Zora exploring her carnal desires with both men and women alike; "My Pleasant Little Life," a slice-of-life erotic drama set in rural Japan where you play as a average guy who becomes embroiled in his new neighborhood's naughty secrets; and "Sisters of Lust," a story about, well, exactly what it says on the tin – incestuous love between siblings blurring lines of desire and taboo. Of course, my guilty pleasure isn't without its share of embarrassments and awkward moments. There was the time my roommate walked in on me playing "Better Than Porn – Summer Job" featuring scantly clad college girls working at a beachside snack stand, oh God, the sweating. Or how about that work conference trip where I accidentally left "Lust Academy: Senior Year" synced up on my laptop and ended up having to explain to my professional colleagues why cartoon teenagers were engaged in a threesome behind closed curtains during the Q&A session?
